From idea to first print.

A practical guide to the Slipbridge workspace, your printer connection, and the designs you can make.

In this guide

Your first print

  1. Open your workspace

Sign in to Slipbridge with your account. If you do not have an account yet, self-service registration is not available.

  2. Connect a printer

Open Printers and select Add printer. Slipbridge runs on the computer connected to your printer and receives jobs from the web app. Follow the connection guide.

  3. Choose a design

Open the Template library, preview a design, and choose Use template to add it to your workspace. Or choose New print for a one-off note or image.

  4. Make it yours and print

Fill in the template’s fields, choose your printer, check the preview, and print. Find the resulting job in Print history.

How it fits together

The workspace

The web app stores templates, renders designed prints, runs automations, and keeps your print history.

The Mac app

A background companion connects your Mac and printer to the workspace. The public installer is still being prepared.

The CLI

The local printing engine handles the printer connection. You can also use it directly, without a workspace account.

What you can use today

The web workspace is live for existing accounts. The Mac companion is in development distribution; a signed public download has not been published. The CLI currently requires an authorized source checkout. Public packages and self-service account signup are not available yet.

If you already have access, use the guides above. The printer connection page in your workspace shows the installation options available to you.
